Editorial policy
Curious Theatre Guide aims to make theatre easier to think about without overstating what a script or performance can tell us. We work to be accurate, independent and clear about the nature of each piece.
Accuracy and interpretation
We check names, terms, dates and other factual details before publication, using suitable reference material when a claim needs support. Interpretive writing is presented as interpretation, not settled fact. We avoid inventing production details or attributing intentions that cannot be established from the material discussed.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial choices are made for reader interest and fit with our theatre focus. A partnership does not guarantee coverage or control our conclusions. Paid, gifted or otherwise supported material is clearly labelled so readers can see when a commercial relationship is involved.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us with the page and the detail in question. We review correction requests and make appropriate changes; significant corrections are identified in the relevant piece so readers can understand what changed.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. Where that is the case, we identify them as AI-generated and do not present them as documentary images of a real production or event.
